Terms & Conditions of Service – Mr. Fridge Austin
LEGAL NOTICE:
By authorizing a Mr. Fridge Austin technician to begin service, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) governing all service work and products provided. This document and any Service Order you approve form the entire agreement between you (“Customer”) and Mr. Fridge Austin, superseding any prior or concurrent understandings, whether verbal or written.
1. Diagnostic Visit Fee (Non-Refundable)
A non-refundable diagnostic fee is required for all non-warranty service calls. This covers the technician’s travel and assessment.
If you approve the service estimate, this diagnostic fee will be applied as credit toward the total cost.
2. Limited Warranty (30 Days)
All services, repairs, and parts are covered by a 30-day warranty from the date of service. If a defect arises during this period, please notify us in writing.
Our sole obligation under this warranty is to repair or replace any defective part or workmanship or issue a refund, at Mr. Fridge Austin’s discretion.
This warranty does not cover:
Cosmetic parts (doors, surfaces, shelves, etc.)
Damage from prior service or incorrect installation
Components beyond manufacturer support
Commercial equipment not maintained by us
Warranty is void unless all charges are paid in full.
3. Limitation of Liability
Mr. Fridge Austin is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages associated with service or equipment issues.
Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid. This limitation does not apply to personal injury claims.
4. Damage Waivers
You agree to waive claims for damage in scenarios such as:
Moving Equipment: We may move refrigeration units if needed; we are not responsible for incidental damage to floors, walls, or cabinetry.
Working Near Water: Service involving plumbing or drainage carries a risk of water damage—Mr. Fridge Austin is not liable unless gross negligence is proven.
Equipment Failure: Even with proper service, refrigeration systems can fail unexpectedly. You accept responsibility for any resulting spoilage, revenue loss, or inconvenience.
Lifting Components: Handling delicate or breakable parts (like glass panels) carries risk; such breakage is not covered.
Service by Mr. Fridge Austin indicates your acceptance and waiver of all such claims.
5. Arbitration
This Agreement is subject to arbitration in accordance with [applicable state law], rather than court litigation.
